D&AD: The Copy Book D&AD

I once had the pleasure of watching him at work. The highly acclaimed Copy Book on how advertisers create texts won him this years D&AD Award. The Copywriter's Bible by D&AD. Not only has D&AD revised The Copy Book, they've added an extra 150 odd pages to make it look like the bible(with pictures). I suspect the audacious nature of this spot is what turned the judge's eye – it's a functional but clever marriage of great copy and great type. The British Library has a copy of every book published so perhaps try there. His book design teams up with its reader. Neil F has written some wonderfully entertaining pieces of all lengths. (Look at "Revive the lost art of the insult" which I suppose is in the D&AD Copy Book). Well lately i've been This particular copy book is very old, first published in 1995 and is apparently now valued at over $200 on amazon because it is no longer published. You do know the D&AD annual isn't a comprehensive list of design agencies don't you?
